Why don’t 311 requests  ever get fixed and why don’t council people make sure they get resolved?

There is no option on Cincy311 to report neighborhood parking violations.  The available option results in a message stating that complaintants have to call a number to report a neighborhood parking violations.  I have brought this to the attention of Cincinnat Parking Enforcement, but the website problem is still there.

The parking situation in the Tuxworth Avenue neighborhood is almost out of control.  Busses, emergency vehicles, disabled persons transportation, snow plows, etc. have a difficult and sometimes impossible time navigating the streets in our neighborhood.  Why can't we get one side parking?   Relleum Avenue has one sided parking and it's a wider street.  We have desperately tried to get one sided parking, but we have been turned down on a technicality.  Relleum Avenue used to have a famous Cincinnati politician living on the street and we think that's why Relleum got one sided parking.  We want the same treatment and standard in our neighborhood.  What can you do to make the Tuxworth Avenue neighborhood a one sided street parking community?

    Mr. Bell

In the Spring of 2024, I sent a letter to all elected officials who represent me in some way, including all members of Cincinnati City Council at the time.  It was about 20 letters in total.  Out of all of the letters that I sent, only FOUR people replied.  The mayor and Senator Brown sent form letters, which I can accept.  That's fine.  At least somebody read something.  Jeff Cramerding and Denise Driehaus sent back personal hand-written notes.  The lack of responses from all Cincinnati city councilmembers, except for Mr. Cramerding was a red flag for me and alarmed me.  I now think that the ONLY elected officials who care about the West Side are Westsiders.  The least an elected official can do is create an office operation that responds, hopefully substantively, to constituent concerns.  What will you do to insure that all constiuent letters and emails are fairly resonded to?  And, if you were on city council in early 2024, why should I vote for you when I could not get a response to my letter from that time?

Investor landlords, especially the ones with large portfolios, are KILLING US on the West Side.  We want more home owners on the West Side and not investors.  An investor, for instance, is responsible for the loss of our beloved Saint Lawrence Bakery because the landlord allows his building to look dirty and dilapidated and would not fix issues that caused the Saint Lawrence bakery to close shop.  What will you do to push the investors out so that average folks can purchase homes instead of snake investors that bring renters and often Section Eight renters?

At one of our West Price Hill Community Council Meetings, a representative from Price Hill Will mentioned that some of the economic development initiatives that Price Hill Will has pursued have been greatly impeded by a slow city response resulting in the necessity to redo paperwork and hinder progress.  What will you do to insure that the city works better and closer with Price Hill Will and other West Side community development organizations so that projects are engaged in the best and most productive way?

State three visions that you have for Cincinnati's West Side neighborhoods that would inspire West Siders to vote for you.

When the street cleaning truck cleans my street the only way I know is because a stream of water is on the street.  I then saw the truck where the trash is disposed of from the street cleaner.  (my idea of a great job in retirement, sitting in a truck all day).

What is the cost of the equipment, staff, and repair?
