March 17 Meeting Minutes
The meeting was called to order by President Michael Wigle at 7:40 p.m. at the Elberon United Methodist Church. The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call follows:

Minutes of the February 18, 2008 meeting were read and approved by motion of Bob Pessler/Tom Gamel.

The Treasurer's report was accepted as presented.
Announcements
The Great American Cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Everyone is to meet in the parking lot of the Elberon Methodist Church. Cleanup will be the down the hills of Elberon, Glenway and Warsaw. Trucks, rakes and leaf blowers and lots of volunteers are needed. A picnic will be provided after the project.
More help is needed on the weekly walks of the Safety CAT committee.
Police Report Officer Jennifer Dawson
Although burglaries are up 71%, overall crime is down 32% and service calls are down 33%. All housing code violations will be considered as criminal offenses, as there have been so many. It was also reported that due to the incident of the large crowd of young people a few nights ago, two officers would be walking the area four nights a week, with an eye for preventing future incidents.
Capt. Robert Butler reported on the locations of the safety cameras. Currently none are slated for the East Price Hill area.
John Schwinn, Hamilton County Probation Officer introduced himself and explained his projects. His office phone number is 251-0015.
Price Hill Historical Society
There was a presentation on the history of Price Hill. The CD and a teaching packet are provided to the local schools to be added to their curriculum.
Neighborhood Busines District (NBD)
Steve Klatte presented the proposal in the absence of Chairman Tom Croft. The proposal included:
Project #1 Beautification for $8,150 which includes improving the business district with plantings; flying the flag at gateways; and litter cleanups.
Project #2 Holiday on the Hill for $1,250, which includes activities and events; ads, printing art supplies, etc.
Project #3 St. Lawrence Gateway for $500 which include preliminary planning and work to develop a gateway feature at St. Lawrence Corner.
Project #4 -CNBDU Annual Dues for $100.
Steve Klatte/Bob Pessler moved to accept the proposal as presented. A residents only vote provided the following results: Aye 22; Nay 0; Abstentions 0. Motion carried.
Unfinished Business
Frank Hollister/Marilyn Critcher moved to give unanimous approval to City Lights on the proposed zoning changes. Discussion followed. Pete Ridder/Ann Patty moved to table the motion. Mr. Hollister withdrew the original motion. Hollister/Pessler then moved to give the Housing & Development committee and the EPHIA Board the authority to speak on behalf of the general assembly to the City Lights proposal as necessary. A residents only vote provided the following results: Aye 26; Nay 0; Abstentions 0. Motion carried
New Business - >None.
Announcements
Councilwoman Laketa Cole will be holding a Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, March 18 at the Deaconess Hospital. Included in the discussion at the meeting will be garnering support for including the Incline District on local and CAGIS maps.
Kroger on Enright will be closing on March 30.
Yard waste pickup will start on April 1.
